| UTAH: Utah's defense was really good last season, allowing only 23.9 PPG (38th in CFB). Fortunately the Utes return six key contributors from that team, and they should be excellent on that side of the ball once again. They do, however, need QB Troy Williams to make major strides as a passer. | | W VIRGINIA: West Virginia is retooling a bit, but this team is still loaded with talent. One area where they should be better than last year is under center. Skyler Howard is no longer in Morgantown, but Florida transfer Will Grier is likely an upgrade. He also has dual-threat ability. West Virginia will, however, need its defense to take some steps forward. If it can then the Mountaineers could surprise a lot of people. |
