| IOWA ST: Iowa State has been a Big 12 punching bag in recent years, but that should change soon. Head coach Matt Campbell is not far from turning this thing around. The Cyclones have some serious weapons on offense in WR Allen Lazard and RBs Mike Warren and David Montgomery. The team just needs QB Jacob Park to continue to progress. Iowa State also needs a lot more out of a defense that was miserable a year ago. | | TEXAS TECH: Pat Mahomes II is off to the NFL, but the Red Raiders aren't panicking. This offense is going to find a way to put up a ton of points regardless, but that's just not going to be enough to make this a good football team. Texas Tech has continued to struggle on the defensive side of the ball, and that isn't going to change this season. Until Kliff Kingsbury commits to that side of the ball, this team will continue to lose. |
