| CHARLOTTE: Charlotte had a tough first season in FBS in 2015, ending the year on a 10-game losing streak during which they had only one win against the spread. The team will try to overcome uncertainty at quarterback with a running game led by senior RB Kalif Phillips, who earned second-team all-conference honors despite missing the final three games with a knee injury.
| | TEMPLE: The defending AAC Eastern Division champion Owls look to build on an impressive 10-4 season. Returning senior QB P.J. Walker (19 TD, 8 INT) has the potential to take another step forward after a stellar 2015, and he will have the help of junior RB Jahad Thomas (1,262 rush yds). Their 19 returning seniors will give them a significant amount of experience. |
