| UTEP: UTEP isn't going anywhere until the team improves defensively. There is some talent on the offensive side of the ball, but the Miners gave up 34.9 PPG (10th in CFB) last season. It's hard to win games that way. | | NEW MEXICO ST: New Mexico State returns nine starters on defense, and the hope is that the team improves on a pass defense that was bottom 35 in the nation last season. If it can then the Aggies might turn some heads. RB Larry Rose III is an absolute stud and should have the offense moving plenty. |
