| COLORADO ST: After losing the conference's 2014 coach of the year (Jim McElwain, now at Florida) and player of the year (Garrett Grayson), it would be nearly impossible for the Rams to pick up where they left off. But new head coach Mike Bobo has solid talent and assembled a very good staff, particularly a rising defensive mind in former UCF coordinator Tyson Summers, who will move the Rams from a 3-4 to a 4-3 defense. They're not going to catch Boise State, but Colorado has a chance at eight victories in 2015. | | FRESNO ST: Tim DeRuyter can coach, as he proved last year when he reloaded after the Derek Carr era ended. But while there is raw talent on the Bulldogs roster, it's young and unproven, especially at quarterback and across the defense. It could end up being a battle for this team to reach .500 again. |
