| E CAROLINA: The Pirates found themselves a new head coach this offseason, hiring former Duke offensive coordinator Scottie Montgomery. His first order of business is to balance the discrepancy between the pass (35th in nation) and run game (112th in nation). Tennessee transfer RB Derrell Scott is expected to be the guy to get the run game going for East Carolina.
| | CINCINNATI: The Bearcats look to rebound from a disappointing 7-6 record last season after having gone 9-4 in both 2013 and 2014. While the team has QB Gunner Kiel returning for his senior year, the Bearcats brought in Miami Dolphins interim coordinator Zac Taylor to run the offense. Linebackers coach Jeff Koonz and line coach Robert Prunty will serve as co-coordinators of the defense after the departure of Steve Clinkscale to Kentucky. |
