| ARMY: Although quarterbacks Ahmad Bradshaw and Chris Carter each do a solid job running Army's run-first attack, the Black Knights need to establish at least some semblance of a passing game a year after completing only 49 passes with nine interceptions on just 108 attempts. Senior LBs Andrew King and Jeremy Timph return as the heart of a defense that needs to be more opportunistic after having forced only 11 turnovers last season, including just four over the team's final eight games.
| | BUFFALO: Buffalo's strength heading into the 2016 season is a defense that keeps its entire line intact along with star LB Brandon Berry and promising CB Boise Ross. The offense, however, will be young and inexperienced.
