| MASSACHUSETTS: With QB Blake Frohnapfel back and WR Tajae Sharpe poised for another monster season, the Minutemen are going to put up a ton of points. The problem is that opponents are likely to light up the Massachusetts defense again. There's always a chance in the MAC East, especially with one of the conference's top quarterbacks. But UMass is a flawed team that will need to catch some breaks to challenge for a division title. | | BUFFALO: While there is plenty of talent at the offense skill positions, there are enough holes elsewhere that this is shaping up to be a transition year. Lance Leipold's success at Wisconsin-Whitewater was staggering (six national titles in eight seasons, 53-3 record). But he's going to be rebuilding the UB defense on the fly, and they're likely to give up a lot of points in the process. |
