| TAMPA BAY: QB Jameis Winston was impressive as a rookie, and he reportedly worked himself into signifcantly better physical shape during the offseason. RB Doug Martin and WR Mike Evans are great complements at skill positions, but the offensive line is still weak. If it can't find a way to keep Winston upright then the Bucs aren't going to be much better in 2016. Things still aren't going to be great along the defensive front despite the signing of DE Robert Ayers. Rookie CB Vernon Hargreaves should, however, help improve this secondary. | | PHILADELPHIA: Although the Eagles gave up a lot to get QB Carson Wentz with the draft's second overall pick, QB Sam Bradford is likely to start the season under center. He'll need to be extremely effective in order to keep Wentz from starting games this season. They were able to unload several Chip Kelly signings, including RB DeMarco Murray, LB Kiko Alonso and CB Byron Maxwell, but Philadelphia didn't get much immediate help in return. RB Ryan Mathews should be a bit better now that he is in line to be the bellcow in this offense. |
