| MIAMI: The Dolphins' offseason was filled with twists and turns, as they lost DE Olivier Vernon and RB Lamar Miller but picked up DE Mario Williams, CB Byron Maxwell and LB Kiko Alonso. OT Laremy Tunsil will need to be immediately effective as a rookie if QB Ryan Tannehill is planning on staying upright. Tannehill should, however, be somewhat improved, as Adam Gase has done some very good work with quarterbacks over the past few seasons. The running game will be a question mark with Miller having gone to Houston. | | NY GIANTS: The Giants invested serious money in their defense in free agency, and their star-studded lineup reflects it. DE Olivier Vernon and DT Damon Harrison significantly strengthen the defensive line, and CB Janoris Jenkins should represent an upgrade over oft-injured CB Prince Amukamara. New head coach Ben McAdoo was successful as offensive coordinator, so there's no reason QB Eli Manning shouldn't continue being as productive as always. It'd be very helpful for the Giants if RB Rashad Jennings could provide a steady source of production on the ground. |
