KEY GAME INFORMATION
ARIZONA: Trading for DE Chandler Jones and drafting DT Robert Nkemdiche has made the Cardinals' defense suddenly quite scary. If CB Tyrann Mathieu is back fully healthy, Arizona will be outstanding on this side of the ball. The offense should again be one of the NFL's best, as QB Carson Palmer, an elite group of receivers and a solid line form a well-rounded outfit. Palmer, however, will need to get over his playoff demons, as he was miserable in 2015. This Cardinals team has been nearly good enough to win the Super Bowl, but must avoid costly mistakes when it matters most.
HOUSTON: The Texans' offense will be vastly improved if QB Brock Osweiler and RB Lamar Miller live up to their new contracts, and first-round pick WR Will Fuller is able to make an immediate impact. At the very least, Fuller will take a ton of pressure off of WR DeAndre Hopkins this season. A solid defensive unit will continue to be led by three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year J.J. Watt, who tends to rack up big numbers against inferior competition while disappearing in big spots. He is, however, recovering from back surgery and might struggle a bit at the beginning of the year.
