The New York Yankees are headed to Baltimore after a big win on Sunday over the Tampa Bay Rays, thanks mostly to a seven-run sixth inning. New York will play a series against the Orioles for the second time in as many weeks, with Monday night the first of a four-game set.

Baltimore and the Yankees were supposed to play a three-game series in New York last Monday through Wednesday but the first two games were rained out. So they played a doubleheader on May 15, which the Yankees swept. The other game is going to be made up on Aug. 12.

The Yankees have been on a roll lately and Sunday's 13-5 victory over the Rays completed their second series win over Tampa Bay in the last two weekends. New York took two out of three last weekend in Florida and did it this weekend in New York.

The big hit in the seven-run inning came when pinch hitter Thairo Estrada, batting for Gio Urshela, lined a three-run double for an 11-5 lead. Urshela had been hit in the groin when fouling off a pitch earlier, and manager Aaron Boone told the media he was having some trouble running.

But people just keep stepping up for the Yankees when players go down, something that's happened a lot in this injury-filled season.

Aaron Hicks hit his first homer of the season and loved what he saw from his team.

"It just proves the fight that our team has," Hicks told MLB.com. "We really are doing 'next man up,' and guys are performing and doing what they need to do to help this team win."

For New York, J.A. Happ will start Monday. He's 3-3 with a 4.44 ERA overall in 2019 but has given up nine runs in 13 2/3 innings in three starts this season versus Baltimore and is 1-1 versus the Orioles this year.

In his career, Happ is 8-7 with a 3.29 record in 23 games, 22 of which were starts.

Andrew Cashner starts for the Orioles and has a 4-2 record along with a 4.10 ERA. This will be his third start versus New York this season. Last week, he gave up two runs on four hits and took the loss in one of the doubleheader games.

For his career, Cashner is 2-5 with a 3.90 ERA in nine game against the Yankees, all starts.

Baltimore is coming off a road trip where it dropped four of five games. The Orioles lost that New York doubleheader and then Cleveland took two of three from them, capped by a 10-0 rout on Sunday afternoon.

The Orioles struck out 15 times and got just five hits as Cleveland starter Shane Bieber went the distance. Baltimore got just one hit the day before -- a Trey Mancini homer -- so the Orioles finished the final two games with just one run.

"This game was lopsided from early on," Orioles manager Brandon Hyde told The Baltimore Sun. "I thought we were in yesterday (a 4-1 loss). We won the day before, swung the bat good the first day. Today, we just got beat."

Starter Yefry Ramirez lasted just 3 1/3 innings and was optioned back to Triple-A Norfolk after the game.
