 | SAN JOSE ST: Projected starter QB Josh Love appeared in five games in 2016-17, completing 51.7% of his passes and throwing for only two TDs with five INTs. His play leaves a lot to be desired for an offense that features some dangerous weapons. Defensively, the Spartans are going to struggle. | | BYU: BYU did well in head coach Kalani Sitake's first year with the team, and the hope is that he'll have them playing like an elite program soon. The Cougars had a good defense last year, but they do need to replace a lot of offensive weapons. |
