| NEW MEXICO ST: RB Larry Rose III (1,651 yds, 14 TD) is back as the focal point of the Aggies' offense. The uncertainty on offense revolves around the QB position, which will be filled by either Tyler Rodgers or transfer Tyler Matthews. Frank Spaziani takes over as coordinator of a defense that ranked 126th in ppg (45.0). | | S ALABAMA: South Alabama has its dynamic RB duo of Tyreis Thomas and Xavier Johnson back this season. The team will need to run effectively, because it enters the season unsettled at QB. Kane Wommack takes over as defensive coordinator in hopes of turning around a team that gave up 416 YPG last season. |
