| OHIO U: Questions remain at the QB position going into the season, as Greg Windham battles for the job with fellow senior J.D. Sprague, who underwent off-season shoulder surgery. The Bobcats return eight of their top nine defensive linemen, including solid DEs Tarell Basham and Kurt Laseak.
| | KENT ST: The Golden Flashes started four freshmen at offensive skill positions late last year (QB George Bollas, RB Raekwon James and WRs Antwan Dixon and Johnny Woods) for a unit that ranked ahead of only UCF in FBS in total offense. The strength of Kent State will be a defense led by star safety Nate Holley. |
