| UCF: The Knights could not have had a worse season last year, as their 0-12 record included a loss to an FCS team. With former Oregon offensive coordinator Scott Frost taking over as head coach, UCF will go from a pro-style offense to the fast-paced, no-huddle spread with which Oregon has enjoyed success in recent seasons. Frost brought in Erik Chinander, who had been linebackers coach at Oregon, to run a 3-4 scheme as defensive coordinator. | | CONNECTICUT: UConn has an ability to win games with its defense, which allowed an average of fewer than 20 points per game last season. The other side of the ball is a complete disaster, as the Huskies ranked 124th in the country in total offense. If the offense can improve with having 10 returning starters, UConn could find its way to another bowl game this season.
