| GA SOUTHERN: With Willie Fritz having left to coach Tulane after two winning seasons at the helm, 36-year-old Tyson Summers is the Eagles' new coach after having served as defensive coordinator at UCF in 2014 and Colorado State last season. He's expected to have seniors Kevin Ellison and Favian Upshaw split time at starting QB for a second straight season. Meanwhile, Matt Breida (17 TD) leads a talented RB group. The defense should be a force this season with the entire line returning along with most of the linebacking corps. The biggest question is the secondary, which will be inexperienced this year.
| | W MICHIGAN: WR Corey Davis (1,436 yds, 12 TDs) returns after contemplating a jump to the NFL, and he'll once again have QB Zach Terrell (29 TD) to throw to him. With the Broncos getting to face both Northern Illinois and Toledo at home this season, they would seem to be the team to beat in the MAC West. |
