| IOWA: Iowa's defense finished 22nd nationally in total defense in 2015 (341 YPG), and eight starters come back to once again wreak havoc on Big Ten offenses. CB Desmond King and his eight interceptions helped the team finish 11th in the country in turnover margin (+0.79), and that type of ballhawking will be key if the Hawkeyes are to continue winning in close games.
| | RUTGERS: Rutgers will have a completely new look in 2016, as Chris Ash takes over as head coach. The major question heading into the season is how well the offense will transition into the power spread. |
