| UCF: The Knights could not have had a worse season last year, as their 0-12 record included a loss to an FCS team. With former Oregon offensive coordinator Scott Frost taking over as head coach, UCF will go from a pro-style offense to the fast-paced, no-huddle spread with which Oregon has enjoyed success in recent seasons. Frost brought in Erik Chinander, who had been linebackers coach at Oregon, to run a 3-4 scheme as defensive coordinator. | | FLA INTERNATIONAL: The Panthers have improved in each of the last two seasons under head coach Ron Turner, winning four games in 2014 and five a year ago. FIU will have a veteran offense with nine returning starters in 2016, including QB Alex McGough, who threw 21 TD passes in 2015.
