KEY GAME INFORMATION
MIAMI OHIO: Chuck Martin actually brought in a solid recruiting class last winter, and the Redhawks seem destined to get back on the right track. But it seems unlikely that it will happen this year, especially with so much uncertainty on the offensive side of the ball. Miami could sneak away with three conference wins considering the weakness of the MAC East division, but this looks like one more year of rebuilding before Martin can really get things going.
KENT ST: While Kent State has enough talent on defense to keep the Flashes from getting blown out, the offense is unlikely to put up enough points, even against a relatively soft schedule. Everything that could have gone wrong did go wrong in last year's 2-9 campaign. As for this year, a return to 2013 levels (when the Golden Flashes were 4-8) seems like a reasonable expectation.
