Who's back: G Jawun Evans, last year's Big 12 Freshman of the Year. He missed the final nine games with a shoulder injury, but he has healed; G Phil Forte. He averaged 15 points per game two seasons ago, and is back after missing most of last season with an elbow injury. F Leyton Hammonds. G Tavarius Shine.
Who's new: G Thomas Dziagwa is a sharpshooter. F Cameron McGriff picked Oklahoma State over several Big 12 programs, including Texas and Oklahoma. F Lucas N'Guessan is a 7-footer from the Netherlands; G Lindy Waters III, a four-star recruit the Cowboys got from Norman, Oklahoma.
Coach Brad Underwood, who left Stephen F. Austin after compiling an 89-14 record the previous three years.
The Skinny: The Cowboys should be improved now that Evans and Forte are back to form one of the nation's better backcourts. Underwood is a winner, and he has embraced the expectations that come with taking the job at Oklahoma State. An NCAA Tournament bid is not out of the question.

Coach: Mark Turgeon.

Who's gone: F Jake Layman, C Diamond Stone, F Robert Carter, G Rasheed Sulaimon, G Varun Ram.
Who's back: G Melo Trimble, leading scorer with 14.8 points per game and assists leader with 176; F Damonte Dodd, who started 13 games; G Jared Nickens, a sharpshooter from beyond the arc; G Dion Wiley, who missed the entire year with a knee injury; F Michael Cekovsky, a 7-foot-1 native of Slovakia who's solid under the basket on the defensive end.
Who's new: F C.J. Gill, a transfer from Duquesne; G Anthony Cowan, a quick freshman with quickness on both ends.
The Skinny: Coming off their first appearance in the Sweet 16 since 2003, the Terrapins have lost four starters but have enough talent coming back ' most notably, Trimble ' to finish in the top half of the Big Ten standings and make a run at a third straight appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
