| SAN JOSE ST: Projected starter QB Josh Love appeared in five games in 2016-17, completing 51.7% of his passes and throwing for only two TDs with five INTs. His play leaves a lot to be desired for an offense that features some dangerous weapons. Defensively, the Spartans are going to struggle. | | UNLV: UNLV allowed 36.8 PPG last season, which was worse than all but 16 teams in CFB. The sad thing is that they could be even worse this year, as they are returning only four starters on that side of the ball. The offense, however, could be something to watch. UNLV has a dynamic backfield. |
