| TEXAS TECH: Pat Mahomes II is off to the NFL, but the Red Raiders aren't panicking. This offense is going to find a way to put up a ton of points regardless, but that's just not going to be enough to make this a good football team. Texas Tech has continued to struggle on the defensive side of the ball, and that isn't going to change this season. Until Kliff Kingsbury commits to that side of the ball, this team will continue to lose. | | TEXAS: The Charlie Strong era is over in Austin, and in comes Tom Herman to help revive this program. Herman was incredibly successful with Houston, and he brings one of the more unique offenses in the nation to Texas. Expect him to get the most out of sophomore QB Shane Buechele and this passing game this season. Also look for the running game to benefit off of that. As for the defense, the Longhorns should be alright. |
