KEY GAME INFORMATION
OHIO U: Last season, quarterback Nathan Rourke threw for 17 touchdowns and only seven picks while adding 912 yards and 21 touchdowns on the ground. He's arguably the best dual-threat QB this conference has to offer, and he's joined by a group of talented rushers in the backfield. The fact that they all run behind an experienced O-line only makes the Ohio offense more dangerous. Defensively, the Bobcats have to replace most of their front seven. If they can competently do that, there is little in the way of them taking the top spot in the East, and they'll definitely have a shot at a conference title.
SAN DIEGO ST: Donnel Pumphrey, Rashaad Penny and Juwan Washington. Familiarize yourself with that third running back, as he looks primed to join the first two as SDSU RBs who ran over, around and through Mountain West defenses. Washington scampered for 759 yards as the backup to Penny (2,248) last season; needless to say, there are lots of rushing yards to be had in this offense. On defense, most of the contributors are back from a strong unit that should be even better this season.
