| UNLV: Plucking a high school coach in Tony Sanchez was, if nothing else, a creative hire, and Sanchez has surrounded himself with enough veteran coaches that he shouldn't be overwhelmed. But UNLV is going to take a few seasons to rebuild, and they're too thin on the offensive and defensive lines to do much damage in 2015. | | NEVADA: Head coach Brian Polian and the Wolf Pack held steady for the first two years of his tenure, but this season will be a whole new challenge with quarterback Cody Fajardo having departed. The pistol offense seems to make average players good and good players great, so there's hope that Nevada can make it to a bowl for the 10th time in 11 seasons. But more likely, Nevada is looking at a down year with a dearth of playmakers on offense. |
