| KANSAS ST: QB Jesse Ertz was solid for the Wildcats a year ago, and he should be a lot better this season. His dual-threat ability makes it very hard for defenses to defend, as he is also joined in the backfield by the explosive Alex Barnes. But while the offense is impressive, this Kansas State defense certainly has question marks. The Wildcats lack big name playmakers, and they'll need a number of guys to step it up this season. | | KANSAS: Heading into this season, David Beaty had won just two games in two seasons with Kansas. The Jayhawks have been blown out more than most other Power 5 programs, but they should be a lot more competitive this year. Kansas has plenty of talent alone the defensive line, and that should bode well against Big 12 offenses. The Jayhawks do, however, need more from the secondary and a lot more from their pitiful offense. |
