| TEXAS: The Charlie Strong era is over in Austin, and in comes Tom Herman to help revive this program. Herman was incredibly successful with Houston, and he brings one of the more unique offenses in the nation to Texas. Expect him to get the most out of sophomore QB Shane Buechele and this passing game this season. Also look for the running game to benefit off of that. As for the defense, the Longhorns should be alright. | | IOWA ST: Iowa State has been a Big 12 punching bag in recent years, but that should change soon. Head coach Matt Campbell is not far from turning this thing around. The Cyclones have some serious weapons on offense in WR Allen Lazard and RBs Mike Warren and David Montgomery. The team just needs QB Jacob Park to continue to progress. Iowa State also needs a lot more out of a defense that was miserable a year ago. |
