| NORTHWESTERN: Coming off a 10-3 season, the Wildcats are likely to no longer be overlooked. RB Justin Jackson (1,418 yds) is the leading returning rusher in the Big Ten. The junior already ranks sixth in school history in rushing yards. | | IOWA: Iowa's defense finished 22nd nationally in total defense in 2015 (341 YPG), and eight starters come back to once again wreak havoc on Big Ten offenses. CB Desmond King and his eight interceptions helped the team finish 11th in the country in turnover margin (+0.79), and that type of ballhawking will be key if the Hawkeyes are to continue winning in close games.
