| KENT ST: While Kent State has enough talent on defense to keep the Flashes from getting blown out, the offense is unlikely to put up enough points, even against a relatively soft schedule. Everything that could have
gone wrong did go wrong in last year's 2-9 campaign. As for this year, a return to 2013 levels (when the Golden Flashes were 4-8) seems like a reasonable expectation. | | ILLINOIS: With the long-term absence of star WR Mike Dudek, Illinois will have a difficult time becoming bowl eligible in 2015. The team shouldn't be favored in any of its eight Big Ten games. The Illini's suspect defense will likely get crushed at home by Ohio State, Wisconsin, Nebraska and Northwestern, who can all run the football. They also figure to lose big at Penn State and at Minnesota'expect four or five victories. |
