KEY GAME INFORMATION
COLORADO: The Buffs are coming along on offense, and they made a great hire in new defensive coordinator Jim Leavitt, whose last stop was with the San Francisco 49ers. Colorado will run a more diverse, multiple front this season, and the unit has five starters back on the front seven, anchored by DT Josh Tupou and LB Addison Gillam. But in all likelihood, the Buffs are another year away from being able to stop Pac-12 opponents, which would make a .500 season in 2015 seem possible but somewhat unlikely.
HAWAII: With his hiring of offensive coordinator Don Bailey to run a high-octane attack and a defense that might struggle to stop opponents, Hawaii head coach Norm Chow seems to be eyeing shootout wins in 2015. Early season trips to Ohio State, Wisconsin and Boise State will put this team in a hole early. Having everything click on offense'an uptempo attack based off the passing game, which should create running lanes for the backs'is the only way the Rainbow Warriors will contend for a bowl berth.
