| TULSA: The strength of this team should be an offense that ranked 15th in FBS last season and ultimately led the Golden Hurricane to a bowl appearance. QB Dane Evans (4,332 passing yds, 25 TD) returns, as does his top receiver, Josh Atkinson (76 rec, 1,071 yds, 5 TD). If Tulsa is to make a run at an AAC East crown, things will need to drastically improve on a defense that ranked 126th in FBS last season. | | FRESNO ST: After going 3-9 and having little success on either side of the ball, Fresno State hired new coordinators on both offense and defense, with Eric Kiesau and Lorenzo Ward, respectively. They'll both have their work cut out for them with a roster that doesn't appear to be much better than last year's. |
