*Indiana St.-Wichita St. Preview* =================================

By JORDAN GARRETSON STATS Writer

Indiana State (13-7) at Wichita State (19-2), 8:00 p.m. EDT

Wichita State owns one of the nation's longest home winning streaks, and it rolled to its largest victory of the season in its previous game.

The 15th-ranked Shockers will look to continue their recent dominance against Indiana State on Tuesday night as they look for their 10th win in 11 meetings and ninth straight on their home floor in the series.

Wichita State (19-2, 8-1 Missouri Valley Conference) has won 19 in a row at home, the country's eighth-longest active streak. Games at Charles Koch Arena generally haven't been close, as the Shockers are 12-0 there this season while winning by an average of 16.8 points.

They recorded their most lopsided victory Saturday, beating Bradley 73-39 for their fourth straight win overall. Wichita State led by nine at halftime before pulling away on the strength of a 16-0 run during the second half.

"The thing that Wichita State is so good at - probably better than any team in our league - is when they smell some blood in the water, they hit another level of energy," Bradley coach Geno Ford said. "The crowd is a significant part of it. This is as good of a college atmosphere as you'll play in."

The Shockers remains the best in the conference in terms of points per game allowed (58.7) and opponent field-goal percentage (38.8). They've allowed only two teams to score more than 69 points and held Creighton - one of the nation's top scoring squads (78.6) - to a season-low total in a 67-64 win Jan. 19.

Cleanthony Early is Wichita's leading scorer at 15.2 points per game, but junior college transfer Nick Wiggins has emerged as a valuable option off the bench. Wiggins has gone 8 of 10 from 3-point range over his last four games and is hitting 51.2 percent of his attempts from beyond the arc.

Coach Gregg Marshall said he's trying to balance playing time between Wiggins and starting guard Tekele Cotton, averaging 6.0 points.

"I've got two tremendously talented players that play the same position that are as different as night and day," Marshall said. "Cotton is a guy that's been around a little more and he probably does it a little more to my liking. But man, that stroke that Nick's got is beautiful. I've just got to find a way to utilize both of their talents in the best way possible."

Indiana State (13-7, 6-3) got two free throws from Jake Odum with 0.3 seconds left to beat Northern Iowa 59-58 at home Saturday. The Sycamores, who have won three of four, gave up the lead on a jumper with 3.3 seconds left before Odum was fouled on a 3-point attempt and missed the first free throw.

The Sycamores have scored more points in the second half than first half in 16 of 20 games, and they started slowly again. Indiana State shot 35.7 percent in the first half compared to 63.2 in the second.

"We're a little too easy to guard at times," coach Greg Lansing said. "... It's something we've got to work on. We have to work more on us on the offensive end."

The Sycamores are 0-4 against ranked opponents this season and haven't won at Wichita State since a 64-63 victory Jan. 17, 2004. The Shockers' last home loss was Dec. 31, 2011, to then-No. 21 Creighton.
