| ARKANSAS ST: The Red Wolves rushed for only 137.2 YPG (106th in CFB) last season, and that number must go up in 2017. If they can't find a way to run the ball
effectively then a regression from last year is likely. Arkansas St. does, however, have a good rushing D. The team was top-50 there last year. | | SMU: Head coach Chad Morris has done a good job turning SMU around, and he'll now look to get them to a bowl game for the first time since 2012.
Fortunately, QB Ben Hicks is back to lead an offense that was pretty explosive last year. The defense, however, needs to improve on all levels. |
