| TULSA: The strength of this team should be an offense that ranked 15th in FBS last season and ultimately led the Golden Hurricane to a bowl appearance. QB Dane Evans (4,332 passing yds, 25 TD) returns, as does his top receiver, Josh Atkinson (76 rec, 1,071 yds, 5 TD). If Tulsa is to make a run at an AAC East crown, things will need to drastically improve on a defense that ranked 126th in FBS last season. | | MEMPHIS: With head coach Justin Fuente having left to coach Virginia Tech, Mike Norvell takes over the coaching duties and adopts a team that lost its starting QB to the draft. Tennessee transfer Riley Ferguson is expected to beat out Brady Davis and Jason Stewart for the starting quarterback job.
