| MARYLAND: New coach DJ Durkin hired three assistants who led FBS programs in 2015: Syracuse's Scott Shafer (defensive coordinator), Virginia's Mike London (defensive line) and Ball State's Pete Lembo (special teams/tight ends). | | INDIANA: Head coach Kevin Wilson will have his work cut out for him to get to a second straight bowl game after having lost both QB Nate Sudfeld and RB Jordan Howard. The key to Indiana's season will hinge on whether new defensive coordinator Tom Allen can turn things around on that side of the ball.
