| LOUISIANA TECH: With Louisiana Tech having lost both QB Jeff Driskel and RB Kenneth Dixon to the NFL Draft, the team's offense will need to reload a season after it ranked 19th in FBS in total yards per game. On defense, eight new starters will be in the lineup when the Bulldogs open the season. | | FLA INTERNATIONAL: The Panthers have improved in each of the last two seasons under head coach Ron Turner, winning four games in 2014 and five a year ago. FIU will have a veteran offense with nine returning starters in 2016, including QB Alex McGough, who threw 21 TD passes in 2015.
